This trail in on an open to the public part of the Naval Submarine Base in Kingsbay, Ga. It is basically a bunch of fire roads that lead out and back. Only thing about it that is hard is that it is covered in foilage. Nice ride for the kids and beginners. There is a boat ramp and a camp site, but to camp there you must contact MWR at Kingsbay NSB.
Take exit 1 off of I-95 and travel east on St. Marys Road until you come to Charlie Smith Senior Hwy, Spur 40. Turn left on to Spur 40 and go aprx 1.5 miles. Turn right on to USS Andrew Jackson Dr. Go to stop sign and make a left on to USS James Madison Rd. Stay in that road until it deadens into USS Proteus Blvd. Turn right on to USS Proteus BLVD and follow that road through a fenced area. You will pass a through golf course, with the club house on your right and putting green on the right as well. The road then turns into a dirt/ sandy road called USS Sam Rayburn Ave.
